Canal boats aren’t a cheap investment so when you’re considering the location to moor your boat you want to choose a spot that is safe and secure. Our mooring locations can only be accessed via a controlled gate at two entrances only. Electricity and water are also available to hook up to your boat and are available to use all year round. The mooring site also has sewage disposal and public showers and toilets. Due to the location and being non-residential the canal moorings are a relaxing, quiet and private.

The Fossdyke Canal is steeped in history, having been believed to be built by the Romans in around 120 AD, to connect the River Witham to the River Trent. It provides easy access to Lincoln, Nottingham and Boston making us an ideal choice for exploring the midlands and further afield.

Our floating pontoon moorings are non-residential and offer a fantastic onsite facility. There are electricity hook up points along the over 400 metre stretch of moorings at regular intervals. Access to the moorings is behind the barrier controlled access at the entrance to The Elms. There is a private gate down onto the moorings themselves.
